While many across China pile into swimming pools in an attempt to cool down, two women in Shanxi province didn't seem too bothered by the heat. They stood under the blazing sun for 8 hours straight, without any food or water, shouting at each other, and eventually passed out on the street.
Initial investigations reveal that the two women were in a heated argument about a debt settlement. They met at around 2 p.m. in the afternoon and around two hours later, one of them called the police, NetEase reports. Officers arrived and suggested that the enraged women settle their claims in court, but both refused. Looks like they wanted to resolve the situation the old-fashioned way on the streets.
At around 10 p.m., police officers came to the scene to check on the two women and found that they had collapsed on the street. One of them had foam coming out of her mouth and was incontinent. Both were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
Netizens were quite amused by the impressive dedication shown by these two women.
